Mobility Acceleration Coalition (MAC)
Building upon the momentum of the FirstNet Early Builder Programs in
Harris County and Los Angeles.
M4PS was awarded a contract under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science & Technology Directorate (S&T) to develop a set of best practices for adopting interoperable mobile technologies for public safety.
MAC partners include various agencies across the Houston/Harris County and Los Angeles regions to share lessons learned from their respective FirstNet Early Builder programs in the areas of governance and end-user adoption.
During Year 1 of this project, M4PS worked with public safety leaders in both regions to develop strategic plans for the adoption of interoperable mobile data solutions including specific pilot deployments to test the functionality and scalability of mobile technologies for public safety.

Southeast Texas Regional ICAM Plan
Regional identity, credential, and access management plan.
M4PS was selected by the SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC) to facilitate the development of a regional plan for Identity, Credentialing and Access Management (ICAM) in the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) region.
This project was initiated with funding from a State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) grant to begin filling critical gaps in identifying first responders through regionalised credentialing for physical access to buildings and incident scenes and virtual access to information systems.

Staying on the cutting edge of public safety Research & Development
The Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate contracted M4PS to assist with the coordination of regional participants in an unprecedented multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional, multi-disciplinary exercise at the Port of Houston to test the integration of a variety of cutting-edge technologies in an operational environment.

Super Bowl LI
Demonstrating the power of mobile broadband
M4PS led the planning and implementation of the mobile app deployment for Super Bowl LI in 2017 under Harris County Central Technology Services (CTS) FirstNet Early Builder program. This was the first large-scale operational deployment of Public Safety Long-Term Evolution (PSLTE) and achieved remarkable results.
This deployment has been recognized nationally and internationally for setting a standard for multi-agency, multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional collaboration and utilization of advanced technologies to augment land mobile radio (LMR) communications.
